Within the next year we would envisage recruiting staff. We are actively looking for more volunteers to come forward, so if you can help we would love to hear from you, even if you can only give a few hours a week to help us with our initial much-needed projects.

Talking About Cannabis is the Secretariat to the new All Party Parliamentary Group on Cannabis and Children, chaired by Graham Brady MP. The Group was set up in February 2008 and has the role of promoting greater understanding of the nature and extent of cannabis misuse among the young. The last meeting was on Tues 11 November in the House of Commons, where supporters met their MPs to talk about how cannabis use has impacted on their families. The next event will feature two guest speakers talking about the physical effects of cannabis on the mind and body. Date tba, Feb/March 2008.
